Usually two people play at a time per court. However you can bring a group and take turns playing on the one court. You could also book more than one court.
Beginners should use an larger ball, or one that is ‘faster’ (Blue or Red Dot) as it will bounce more.
Experienced players will use a ‘slower’ (Yellow or Double Yellow Dot) as it will bounce less.

- You should warm up the ball for about 5 minutes, changing sides when you’re 2½ minutes in.
- When you win a rally, you win the point
- Each game is first to 11, and you must have a two point lead, except when it is first to 15
- Spin the Raquet to determine who serves first
- Serve from each box in turn
- The ball must go to the front wall above the service line and come back to the opposite side of the court
- If you swing and miss, your opponent takes the serve
- If you drop the ball and don’t swing, you can start again
- You must have one foot touching the floor and completely within the service box
- The foot within the service box cannot touch the lines
- The ball can only bounce once before it must be hit
- The ball must not touch the tin
- The ball must not touch the top ‘out’ line
A let is when a rally is replayed, usually because an opponent was in the way or it was dangerous to hit the ball.
You can only replay a point if:
- Your Opponent was in the way
- It was dangerous to hit the ball
There are no ‘time outs’. But you can rest for 90 seconds after each game
After you hit the ball you must move out of the way so the opponent can safely go to the ball and return the ball to the front wall
You lose the point
Play Safely
Never hit the ball if it is dangerous!
We recommend that players wear protective eyewear during play
